Privacy Policy

This page explains how FinTakip Pro handles information, local finance records, advertising, premium purchases, exports, notifications, privacy rights and legal responsibilities.

1. Important Financial Disclaimer

FinTakip Pro is a personal finance tracking and reporting tool. The App does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, credit advice, insurance advice, banking services, cryptocurrency advice, or any other regulated financial service.

All reports, charts, notifications, budget alerts, weekly summaries, smart insights, comparisons, forecasts, PDF/CSV exports and other information shown in the App are generated only from data entered by the user and are provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the App; your financial, legal, tax, investment, business, credit, insurance or personal decisions; any action you take based on reports, summaries, alerts or insights generated by the App; and any PDF, CSV or other file that you create, save, print, send or share using the App.

FinTakip Pro does not guarantee that any calculation, report, notification, budget alert, insight or export will be complete, error-free, suitable for your personal circumstances or legally sufficient for any official purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinTakip Pro and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, financial, business, tax, legal, investment or other loss arising from your use of the App, your reliance on App-generated information, your own data entries, or your sharing/exporting of reports.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

2. Our Privacy Approach

FinTakip Pro is designed with an offline-first approach.

In general, the financial data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account, log in to a bank, connect your bank account, provide online banking credentials, or upload your financial records to our own servers.

However, some third-party services used by the App, such as Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Google Play Billing and Google Play services, may process certain device, advertising, purchase, diagnostic or usage-related information according to their own policies.

3. Information You May Enter Into the App

Depending on how you use FinTakip Pro, you may enter or create the following information:

  • profile name or nickname;
  • profile avatar, emoji or optional profile image;
  • income, expense and transfer records;
  • account or wallet names and balances;
  • categories, budgets, savings goals and recurring transactions;
  • notes added to transactions;
  • currency, language, notification, theme and display preferences;
  • PDF and CSV reports generated by you;
  • exported files saved or shared by you.

This information is primarily stored locally on your device.

You should not enter highly sensitive information into the App unless it is necessary for your own use. For example, you should not enter passwords, online banking credentials, full national identification numbers, full credit card numbers, bank login information, authentication codes, or other sensitive credentials into transaction notes or any other App field.

4. Information We Do Not Require

FinTakip Pro does not require bank login information, online banking passwords, credit card passwords, government ID numbers, biometric identity records, payroll account access, direct bank synchronization, financial institution login credentials, compulsory user registration, or compulsory cloud account creation.

If you voluntarily write sensitive information into the App, you are responsible for that input.

5. Information Processed Automatically

When you use the App, certain information may be processed automatically by the App, your device operating system or third-party services.

  • device model and operating system version;
  • app version, language and region settings;
  • approximate location inferred by Google services for advertising or compliance purposes;
  • advertising identifiers where permitted;
  • IP address processed by third-party services;
  • ad impressions, ad clicks and consent choices;
  • crash, diagnostic or technical information where such services are enabled;
  • purchase status and transaction information through Google Play Billing.

We do not use this information to directly identify you through our own server system. However, third-party providers may process such data under their own privacy policies.

6. Profile Images and Media Access

If you choose to upload or select a profile image, the App may request access to your photos, media or image picker depending on your device and Android version.

The selected image is used only to display your profile inside the App. The App does not upload your profile image to our own servers.

You may remove or change your profile image at any time from the App settings.

7. Notifications

FinTakip Pro may send local notifications if you enable them. These may include weekly finance summaries, spending alerts, budget threshold alerts, recurring payment reminders, daily or weekly reminders and financial balance alerts.

Notifications are generated based on data stored in the App and your notification preferences. You can disable notifications from the App settings or your device notification settings.

The App does not guarantee that a notification will always be delivered, delivered on time, or displayed by the device. Notification delivery may depend on your device settings, battery optimization, operating system restrictions and manufacturer-specific behavior.

8. PDF, CSV, Printing and Sharing

FinTakip Pro allows you to generate, save, print and share PDF or CSV reports. These reports may contain financial data that you entered into the App, such as income, expenses, account balances, budgets, goals, categories and transaction notes.

When you choose to share, print or save a PDF/CSV report:

  • you decide where the file is sent or stored;
  • third-party apps such as email apps, messaging apps, cloud storage apps, printing services or file managers may process that file;
  • we are not responsible for how third-party apps, recipients or services handle files after you share them;
  • you are responsible for checking the report before sending it to another person or organization.

You should not share reports containing sensitive or private financial information with anyone you do not trust.

9. Advertising and Third-Party Ads

FinTakip Pro may display advertisements in the free version of the App. The App may use Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Google advertising services and other Google Play services related to ads and compliance.

Advertising services may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, ad impressions, ad clicks, consent choices and technical information.

Where required, the App may show a consent form or privacy options form so that users can manage advertising-related choices.

If you purchase or activate Premium, ads may be removed according to the Premium terms available inside the App.

We do not control the content of ads shown by third-party advertising networks. Third-party advertisers and advertising networks are responsible for the ads they provide and their own privacy practices.

10. Google Play Billing and Premium Purchases

FinTakip Pro may offer Premium features through Google Play Billing. Premium options may include monthly subscription, yearly subscription, lifetime purchase, ad-free use, increased or unlimited limits, PDF/CSV export benefits, advanced reports and other premium features described inside the App.

Payments and purchase processing are handled by Google Play. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details.

Google may process purchase-related information such as product purchased, subscription status, purchase token, transaction status, payment confirmation and country, tax or billing-related information where required.

Premium availability may depend on Google Play, your account, your region, payment status and subscription validity. You are responsible for managing subscriptions, renewals and cancellations through Google Play unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Legal Bases for Processing Under GDPR

Performance of a contract

To provide the App features you request, including storing local records, showing reports, generating PDF/CSV files, managing Premium features and processing purchases.

Consent

For personalized ads, advertising consent choices, optional permissions, notifications and other processing where consent is legally required.

Legitimate interests

To maintain app functionality, prevent misuse, improve user experience, respond to support requests, protect our rights and keep the App stable and secure.

Legal obligation

To comply with applicable laws, Google Play policies, tax rules, billing obligations, consumer protection obligations, lawful requests or regulatory requirements.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

12. KVKK Notice for Users in Türkiye

Data Controller

The data controller for App-related support and policy matters is the developer/publisher of FinTakip Pro. You may contact us at durcorps@gmail.com.

If a different legal publisher name is shown in Google Play Console, that publisher should be considered the responsible publisher for the App.

Categories of Personal Data

  • identity/contact data if you email us;
  • device and technical data;
  • advertising and consent data;
  • billing and purchase status data through Google Play;
  • user-generated financial records stored locally on your device;
  • profile name, avatar or optional profile image;
  • App settings and preferences.

Purposes of Processing

Personal data may be processed for providing App functionality, managing preferences, displaying ads, managing consent choices, processing Premium purchases, responding to support requests, improving stability and security, complying with legal obligations, preparing Google Play compliance declarations, preventing abuse and protecting rights.

Collection Method and Legal Grounds

Data may be collected directly from you, automatically through the App or device, through Google Play Billing, through Google AdMob and Google consent systems, or through email when you contact us. Processing may be based on explicit consent where required, necessity for performance of a service, legitimate interests, legal obligations, establishment/exercise/protection of rights, and other legal bases permitted by KVKK and applicable law.

Transfer of Data

Data may be transferred to or processed by Google services, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, service providers used for app distribution, ads, purchases and compliance, email service providers when you contact us, and third-party apps you choose when sharing PDF/CSV files. Some third-party providers may process data outside Türkiye where permitted by applicable law.

KVKK Rights

Under KVKK Article 11, you may have rights to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know third parties to whom data is transferred, request correction, request deletion or destruction where conditions are met, request notification of correction/deletion to third parties where applicable, object to unfavorable results arising from automated analysis and request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

13. GDPR and Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and lodging a complaint with a data protection authority.

Some data may be stored only locally on your device, which means we may not be able to access, correct or delete it remotely. In such cases, you can delete it directly from the App or by uninstalling the App.

14. Local Storage and Data Deletion

Most finance records entered into FinTakip Pro are stored locally on your device.

You can delete data by deleting individual records inside the App, using “delete my data” or reset options if available, clearing App data from Android settings, or uninstalling the App.

If you exported PDF/CSV files, those files may remain in your device storage, downloads folder, cloud storage, email attachments, messaging apps or other locations where you saved or shared them. You are responsible for deleting exported copies from those locations. Uninstalling the App may not automatically delete exported files.

15. Data Retention

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, reset the App, clear App data or uninstall the App.

Support emails may be retained for as long as necessary to respond to your request, maintain records, protect our rights or comply with legal obligations.

Google Play Billing, AdMob and other Google services may retain data according to their own policies and legal requirements.

16. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal financial records.

We may share or allow processing of information with Google services for ads, consent, billing, app distribution and compliance; service providers necessary to operate app features; third-party apps you choose when sharing PDF/CSV files; printing services if you print a report; legal authorities if required by law; to protect our rights, users, App security or legal interests; or in connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition or asset transfer, subject to applicable law.

We are not responsible for third-party apps or services that you choose to use outside FinTakip Pro.

17. International Data Transfers

Some third-party providers, including Google services, may process data on servers located in different countries.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Türkiye or another jurisdiction with data transfer rules, such transfers may occur where permitted by applicable law and subject to relevant safeguards used by the third-party provider.

18. Children’s Privacy

FinTakip Pro is not intended for children.

The App is intended for users who are legally able to manage personal finance records and make decisions regarding app usage. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

19. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect App functionality and user data. However, no mobile application, device, storage method, network, platform or digital service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for securing your device, using a device lock, avoiding sharing sensitive reports with untrusted parties, protecting exported files, keeping your operating system updated and avoiding entry of passwords, bank credentials or highly sensitive identifiers into the App.

If the App includes optional security features such as PIN lock, biometric lock, balance hiding or screenshot protection, you are responsible for enabling and using those features.

20. Automated Insights and Notifications

FinTakip Pro may generate automatic summaries, insights, alerts and notifications based on your own entries. These may include spending increases, category comparisons, highest spending day, budget usage, savings rate, recurring transaction reminders, income and expense summaries.

These insights are informational only. They are not professional advice and do not create any legal, financial, tax, banking, insurance, investment or accounting recommendation.

You should verify all information before making decisions.

21. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services, including but not limited to Google Play services, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Android notification services, Android sharing and printing systems, and third-party apps selected by the user for sharing or saving files.

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control the privacy practices of third-party services.

22. User Responsibilities

By using FinTakip Pro, you agree that you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, reviewing reports before using or sharing them, your financial/tax/legal/investment/credit/insurance/business decisions, not relying on the App as a substitute for professional advice, avoiding entry of sensitive credentials, managing exported files carefully and complying with applicable laws when using the App.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinTakip Pro and its developer shall not be liable for incorrect user entries; incomplete or inaccurate reports caused by user data; financial decisions made by the user; tax, accounting, legal, credit, investment, insurance or business consequences; lost profits, lost savings or financial losses; data loss caused by device failure, uninstalling, clearing data, operating system errors or third-party services; exported files shared with wrong recipients; third-party app or service behavior; delays or failures in notifications; ad content shown by third-party ad networks; Google Play Billing, subscription or payment processing issues controlled by Google; unsupported devices, operating system restrictions or manufacturer-specific limitations.

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

24. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update the policy, we may change the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

For significant changes, we may provide additional notice inside the App where appropriate.

26. Summary

FinTakip Pro is designed to help users track personal income, expenses, accounts, budgets, goals and reports. The App is not a financial advisor and does not provide regulated financial services. Most finance data is stored locally on the user’s device. Advertising, billing, consent, sharing and platform services may involve third-party processing. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their own data and for decisions made based on App-generated information.
